Just made an ele, and I did search the forum, but I am wondering what is an easy/relatively cheap weapon/offhand for me to start with? and by cheap i mean less then 10k for each item?

I had been farming Kindlerock but the guys a JA and wont drop anything for me. I dunno maybe im killin him wrong :P

Most items in the game have fallend to being worth nothing, so its should be easy to find itms in your range.

A general tip is to go for a 20/20 wand and 20/20 focus, in your cas fire.

40/40 casting set.

You can get both wand and offhand from collectors in Factions (Vasburg Armory and Leviathan Pits) for 5k plus materials each.

You can get 20/20 offhands from collectors around the Crystal Desert and Southern Shiverpeaks area, if you don't mind collecting and want to hold onto your 5k and mats

this thread explains it pretty well. droknar's fire scepter and droknar's fire focus are both perfect for eles. all of the weapons from endgame EOTN are perfect for just about any caster class. you just have to get the ones from your attribute. you can buy a drok's key for about 6-8k then all you have to do is beat EOTN. or you could just buy the weapons themselves for the same price. definitely the cheapest way to do it is to find collectors that have the required stats and get the weapons from them though.

here's a list of collectors and weapons. the NF and Factions lists are pretty easy to follow. the prophs list requires a little more research on your part, though. just click on the item to be collected and it should provide you a link to the collector and where he/she is located.
